Great Wall Airlines is a Sino-Foreign Joint Venture Cargo Airline established by Beijing Aerospace Satellite Application Corporation (a fully-owned subsidiary of China Aerospace Science & Technology Corporation), Singapore Airlines Cargo and Dahlia Investments (a fully-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings). The total registered capital of the Company is RMB 1 billion.
On 1st June 2006, Great Wall Airlines launched its maiden flight between Shanghai and Amsterdam, and became the first Sino-Foreign Joint Venture Cargo Airline of the People's Republic of China to commence scheduled services.
Great Wall Airlines operates from its hub at Shanghai's Pudong International Airport, offering dedicated freighter services, connecting China to the major cargo markets of the world. |
